Software eqgame.exe not responding (1 Viewer)

So having my main toon logged in. I would tab out to read something. Came back a bit later and EQ won't maximize. Brand new PC happened on others before. Nothing crazy going on either. Any ideas? I hate playing in windowed mode.

DirectX 9.0c doesn't really like changing from Full screen to windowed mode and back. You're going to get EQ Game crashes and DirectX reset errors even without MQ from time to time.

One option may be to set EQ to overlap the task bar. Then only window part showing is bar at top.
