Bug - EQBC stopped working

Hi guys, not sure if I'm the only one having this issue.

My hotkey that previously worked flawlessly to have my group target me and follow me is no longer working.

I also tried typing /bcg //invite to have all my group accept my group invite, but that also yields no results. It doesn't seem to be getting through to the server for some reason, yet I know that all characters have connected to the server.

Any ideas? It's been working flawlessly since I initially set up, so it's strange that its suddenly stopped now.

so your key setup. also try disconnecting all toons from eqbc and reconnecting them, sometimes I get false logins to eqbc

Tried that but didn't have any luck. Also tried restarting everything from scratch.

in EQBC server window is it showing them logged in and is it echoing the commands?

Its showing them logged in but not echoing commands

Are you using the loopback IP default or did you change the ini config to use a specific IP address?

Ping 127.0.0.1 and see if you get a response. Could be something with your network setup.

Could also try renaming/deleting MQ2EQBC and redownloading it, make sure it is up to date. Some recent source changes required edits to some plugins, I believe that is one

Hi guys,

I pinged 127.0.0.1 and got a response just fine (assuming you're meaning to use ping via command prompt outside of game).
I'm using the standard default settings for eqbc server.

I tried deleting and reinstalling everything, saving my ini files and then starting up. No joy at all.

Are you running MQ2EQBCS(Server) on the same computer as all your characters? What Server IP address, and Port Number show up in the MQ2EQBC.ini file.

Update:

Started working again and has been stable so far. No idea what caused the problem, but clearly it has issues
