EQ Windows Broken? (1 Viewer)

Is it just me, or is EQWindows not working with the June 29th patch? My screens come up completely black except letters - I can manage to login with the keyboard, but when I'm loading towards the Char Select it crashes at "Loading Player Equipment Files".

Any help I'd appreciate. I'm supposed to lead a raid tonight.

As far as Ive heard the only way to get EQW to work is to change your monitor and video card to 16 bit instead of 32.

A working alternative to it though is WinEQ 2

mine gave me trouble but after i patched both folders seperatly they both worked you may want to run the eqw but let it do the patch part that may fix it did for me

I use EQWindows all the time and made it through the latest patch without a problem at all. My color depth is always 16 bit if that helps...

I hate wineq2 but I'm using it atm till I fix my eqw.
