The thread is closed otherwise I would've posted there.
The pet is considered a "Pet Destructible Object" and can only intermittently be used for assist.
I have all the Companion Discipline AAs and the pet is actually very tanky at 120, so I want to be able to use the pet as a tank but half (or more) of the time he can't be used because of this error.
I also noticed the problem again after being able to assist the pet initially, but after gating to PoK (with the Drunkard's Stein) and returning via Fellowship campfire, the pet was no longer able to be assisted and was again being considered a "Pet Destructible Object".
This is actually a pretty huge problem for me since I need group members to assist my pet so they don't break mezzes when assisting me. Assisting my Enchanter pet should be as easy as assisting a tank merc, but it isn't.
Any ideas about what might be causing this or how to fix it?
"I don't see anyone by that name around here..." is what group members see after "assisting" the Pet Destructible Object.
They just stand there without a target and don't engage in combat.
