Problem - Enchanter - Charmed Pet not attacking

Hey guys,

Wondering what workarounds people have found to have their charmed pet to assist the tank.

In my group I have ENC (Charm) and Mage. Both set to assist at 95% life. The enchanter and charmed pet often twiddle thumbs. Ive had to manually include a button to /assist tank and /pet attack

Is there another way? Would be nice for it respond same way a mage pet does.

Here are some charm pet work around tips people have shared. KA doesn't have any built in code for charm, part of the keep-it-simple stuff.

Thanks. Had similar set up to the thread you linked (using EX target 5 as the target for charm/tash/mala) however aside from holding something to /assist tank and /petattack have not been able to replicate. I see the little mages pets running in mocking the charm and was thinking there has to be a workaroudn somewhere!

With Riz, I think the interest in automated charm is up a lot. So coders may add something in the future.

Ok guys, had to do a few work arounds but got it all working.

Just to report back in case anyone has similar issues. I had to make a 'TASH' key, and a 'CHARM' key, along with an "ATTACK" key. I had to set my charmed pet to EXT TAR #5 (can change anywhere really)

TASH:
/bct Enchanter //mqpause on (if you are mid cast it completes, then stops further actions/checks)
/bct Enchanter //xtar 5
/bct Enchanter //cast 7 (spell gem Tash is in - can replace with upgraded throughout)
/bct Enchanter //mqpause off

CHARM:
/bct Enchanter //mqpause on (if you are mid cast it completes, then stops further actions/checks)
/bct Enchanter //xtar 5
/bct Enchanter //cast 6 (spell gem Charm is in - can replace with upgraded throughout)
/bct Enchanter //mqpause off

ATTACK:
/bct Enchanter //mqpause on (if you are mid cast it completes, then stops further actions/checks)
/bcaa //target id ${Target.ID} (set target for everyone)
/bcaa //pet attack (send pets to attack for all)
/bct Enchanter //mqpause off
