Question - Enchanter and Mezzing

I have noticed most if not all of the Enchanter .ini files don't use the AA Beam of Slumber. I have been toying with this when I run the enchanter as my puller and it is an excellent mez if you are facing the right direction. I am just asking as it seems a great resource that isn't being used.

Also for some reason my chanter doesn't mez when I try to use him out of group or at least not until the main mob is at about 30-40%. When I put him in group mezzes immediately as soon as the tank has the target and is in camp the adds are mezzed, usually before they can hit the tank. I don't have the INI file on this computer but i will update and post it later.
 
You never posted your .ini! My chanter is out of group and mezzes like a boss, so it must be in your .ini file.

I don't use Beam of Slumber because I don't need it. Regular mez and wave work like a champ. I am just about to max aa on chanter again, ill try beam on him once have it maxed and see if it helps, perhaps as a second aoe mez.
 
Only problem I have with Beam of Slumber is that it also roots. I'll try it out on my enchanter and see if KISS MezRadius nullifies that problem. Honestly, didn't even think of using it before, but it'd be useful if for no other reason than that it frees up a spell gem to load nukes or whatever.

I'd guess your enchanter out of group is not see anything on XTarget till the main mob is well on it's way to dead. If the enchanter is grouped with a melee type outside of your main group, have the melee assist earlier. Or on your enchanter ini, have him set to assist with debuffs at 99 or even 100 % if it's low agro stuff and then be sure to have conditions on nukes/DoTs/anythingAggro to go off when the mob's health is lower percentage.
 
I will concur with Casca. If your enchanter is out of group she will just stand there until she dtects a monster on the XTraget. If anything I know, its about how KA responds to mezzes which I HEAVILY rely on. With this being said try to have your enchanter group with who ever is your puller or do what Casca suggested. I can assure you that the Mez routine works flawlessly.

1. swap out Anodyne Stare for Deadening Wave. stare is a point and click, wave is general and works must faster and better.
2. bewilder lands a lot more than chaotic bewildering for some reason - i switched back to plain old bewilder
3. your .ini looks fine except... see below.
4. CHANGE YOUR DPS TO DPSOn=1 don't know why but kiss has problems with mez if dps is not set to 1. i went nutts trying to figure out what was wrong a few weeks ago and someone else pointed that out to me.

Never had this problem.

but agree with what spells to use, I used beam at some point until it started agroing mobs it wasent supposed to.
