A while back they fixed the ability for Insta Click illusions while forcing your character at a door or crack to get through without a key where a key was required.
With that being fixed there is a lot of old stuff that is no longer possible.
ALEX from Xygoz in original Veeshan's Peak was one of the most abused that I know of. Emp Ssra another. Door into building where Lord Inquisitor resides... but that key is easy! Anywho, I digress, there are others.

No but if you are in the room directly below him and you are in the raid you will be able to loot via the adv window.

The illusion trick was never usable to get into the Emperor's room, his room is not physically connected to the rest of Ssra. You click a portal and it teleports you.
I don't know if it's the case any longer, but in days old those four small rooms off of the Emperor's main chamber did not have the CotH restrictions that the main room did. So if you know how to get past the red electric "walls"/doors that separate those little rooms from the main room, you can get a mage up there, summon a whole raid, and bypass keying that way.
