Release Drag Corpse 1.1

Leo submitted a new resource:

Drag Corpse - Will drag corpses of group or raid members

This lua will not pause automation or go retrieve corpses, it simply looks for corpses of group or raid members nearby and if they are near it will pull them to you. This can be used to pull corpses passively. I would run this on whichever char is pulling for your group and not on more than 1 char in the group at a time.

I could see someone dragging a corpse from a rezzer, and then getting in a pissing match

Leo updated Drag Corpse with a new update entry:

Combat checks and dragging improvement

So I tweaked ranges and am now having it use the drag corpse function which means it will only work with 2 corpses at a time, but it shouldn't fight with pulling corpses away from healers in camp and stuff anymore. It looks a lot less bot-like this way in my opinion.

Na, just have it so it drags. With my group once the puller gets back to the camp the healer usually just rezzes the corpse. So never bothered dropping.

Same. Starting to use this today. And got this as well. Seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it just doesn't want to drag any corpses. I can be sitting right on top of a corpse and dancing around it. And it won't drag. And sometimes it will drag corpses one time with the shown errors afterwards.

were you grouped or in raid? I'll try to reproduce again today to see if I can narrow down what's causing the issue.

Rename the Lua to something easier, like BOYD.Lua, that filename I gave it is too long and silly.
I am not able to test this in any way whatsoever, I did this totally 100% away from game, away from mq, using just notepad. It might crash your life, eat your kids, sleep with your dog and take your wife for a walk. I have not tested it in any way! I have not even tried to run it!

I just took the existing script, ripped all the fuss out, and made it try to drag every corpse nearby. /shrug. Some might fail. Some might be a very close but unrelated group, such as a split apart raid. Don't use it then! It just tries to drag every corpse in range. If you have consent, it should drag em. (is consent still a thing? there used to be settings to control giving it, didn't there?).

since you can bind execution to a hotbutton, you can just only press this when you absolutely, positively got to drag every motherf***er in the room, accept no substitutes.
