Mearatas - I farm the named mobs in the center, about a 20min repop but their drop rate is .. meh - ok. Sometimes I get 2-3 in a row, sometimes I get 1 after 15 kills. Question is, is there a better way? I got a lot of toons to outfit (9-10 per toon needed) and just wondering if there is something faster out there I could do.

If you can setup semi afk auto killing of the center mob , it's probably great since it's lower effort if you are at the keyboard... you can clear another 4 named oh fairly easily so more chances if they drop them?

I did get most of mine from mission chests however, and i've almost finished hunter for TBL

My best luck was to obtain from Hero missions.
Sometimes drops 2 in one chest loot.

Agreed. I've had much better luck just doing missions. Contract of War and Tyrant of Fire. I've had up to 2 drop in those chests. I've also seem them drop in Smoke trials from chests.

Also, as more people get flagged, I foresee that camp in Mearatas being a clusterfuck, at least that's what I'm starting to see on Xegony.

More people flagged? Hasn't TBL been out for like 5 months? Seems like the bulk of people would probably already be flagged.

In my experience the mearatas middle is kind of lacking for getting muhbis - sure its a guaranteed named, but the drop rate is bleh

I've had really good success running a smoke trial and missions like brass palace --- can get augs from those as well

Not to mention if your not that well geared, the named can be a bit painful especially the one that will mez your tank or healer for a quick death lol

Did they fix the picks for Mearatas yet ? The picks were broke for the middle mobs meaning they would only spawn once and never spawn again, curious if they fixed that yet ? Also, other than visible armor, why not go farm GMM, stats are mostly better on non-visible there than TBL T3 crafted non-visible, dont require Muhbis and the mobs are .. stupid easy to farm..and GMM missions drop 3 items at a time in the chest ..so makes it even more simple...

I didn't have much luck with the quests lines when I ran through them first. but I did do them more early on. I'll run through some again more aggressive and see if I get some better drops. I have yet to do GMM. I'm in need to get some no-viso's on the crew.

Mearatas is dead. I have seen maybe 1 person here in a week and I usually camp for hours on end throughout the day. No issues with mobs re-spawning but I haven't been able to try another pick so I can't confirm any issues there, in fact sometimes you get a pop right after a kill. I've had up to 4 re-pop 1 right after another at times. Seems to happen if I take a long break and come back after a few hours.

My crew is almost full battlemaster and about 1/2 are in Adament and sometimes the names still get the better of me.. lol Mostly with the nasty aoe. They get hit at a bad time or something lags.. and the dmg just rolls through the crew.. lol.

Not sure if my tactic is a good one, but being new to TBL I've decided to farm the ever loving shit out of GMM missions and static zone namer spawns until all six of my main toons are totally decked out in non-vis items, and THEN I'm going to start progression. I may do Fire Fight a few times to get some evolve items on my SK, but other than that...... I want to get non-vis totally out of the way. I figure the progression might be a bit easier if I have a head start on TBL gearing. My tank (SK) is all EoK/RoS raid gear, so he is usually fine, but the other toons are a smattering of EoK/RoS prestige and non-prestige. For example, my enchanter doesn't have any prestige gear because I usually only pop a krono to AA him and then drop him back to FTP. So, he isn't taking advantage of GMM. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and sub him with kronos, since the other 5 toons in the group are subbed. Hrm.

I've done all progression (except two smoke trials I've yet to really work on) with my crew essentially from conflag gear. My war was given all gear first and was fully tradeskill geared/hmm gear by the time I got to the strange magic

Only my cleric has a mix of eok/RoS raid gear (crap mix, actually sirs at about t2 tbl quality in stat's except for foci) rest are on conflag except for a few random T1 items and enc has a t1 vis set. All only buff to just about 200k with cleric aura

I have afk most of hunter in t2 zones (I did mearatas at kb on increase spawn weekend) and only a couple of names gave trouble for afk but were easy to do at keyboard.

If you're tired of GMM... Just go try TBL, you might be surprised at how easy it is and start collecting the diminished muhbis! :-)

Thanks for the tips!

^^ This! x100

Run Brass palace, Contract of War and Tyrant of Fire every time the timer is up, these are #1 because they can be run so fast after some practice. #2 Run your smoke trials everytime the timer is up....dont believe the hype, they are easy and fast to do also, cliffs glory is the only one that might be tough in crappy gear cause you HAVE to eat at least one of the AE's. If you can do both, run #1 first then #2 and if your play session is long enough you can do #1 again.

This is just what I've found to be the fastest way for me, all the other things have just been too random or take too long to cram a bunch of chances at one into a shorter play session...in between timers, I dunno...finish progression, random mission, camp named or do GMM.
