Tip - Defiant Armor (70)

Due to people on my server making Elegant Defiant armor really overpriced. I found that I can make a heroic toon, claim the gift of legacies lost, and put the items in your shared bank. Then the next toon, go to the shared bank first and pull out the armor pieces you already have and click the defiant bundle again. This allows you to get a full set of defiant for that character for free with 3 heroic toons. Just delete the Heroic and start over. There is a banker about 15 ft from zone in Feerott. I couldn't find this info anywhere in my search so I figured I would share. Great way to get your boxes that are level 70 some gear.

Couldn't tell you, I read it somewhere as it was a response to the defiant gear cheat you could do, only other thing I remember is that it only applied to the free HC's, if you bought one for SC it didn't apply

I still think this is bs. No one has been able to link to or point to any written policy or dev explanation that this occurs. I’ve deleted/remade a ton of heroics when I was transferring items around servers, and never once across those 3-4 accounts did I ever encounter this. I also have never paid for a heroic. So... I’m skeptical.

I will definitely let everyone know if this is the case. I just made 4 sets of elegant leather and 2 sets of elegant plate. Each set cost roughly 3 heroics and I have never paid for a heroic. That is at least 18 times this heroic has been remade and I know I have recreated it a few times prior to that. So Sum1, I am skeptical as well
