Question - CWTN BYOS and XTargetBuffing

Hey folks - I've got a quick question and cant seem to find any threads on this.

I have been messing around with BYOS to make it easier to PL my toons outside of the PLer's group (think HP buffs from CLR, Haste/Mana from ENC). Im able to set the gems appropriate, but as soon as I turn on XTargetBuffing, my characters are actually sitting down and memming spells that were not in the custom set and then subsequently trying to buff.

For example:
On my ENC, I have created a custom set to include Clarity and SLtW. When I enable BYOS Custom, it will show everything set correctly in my BYOS Custom Set. As soon as I turn on XTargetBuffing, my ENC sits down and begins memming Speed of Cekenar which is obviously too high level for my intended target (low level toon I am PLing). The same thing is happening with my CLR who sits and tries to mem Unified Righteousness (again too high level for my toon I am PLing).

I watched the Class Plugin and BYOS Set video from Sic, and dont think I am missing anything but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd apprecaite it!

Thanks

Byos custom still uses the spells that the plugin says it uses

Please watch the byos custom vid

After next build we won't try to buff somebody if they're too low level to receive it, but at least for now we're not going to try and check all of our spells just in case if there is one that we have that will buff the other toon.

You can still utilize mq2 buff me and request whatever buff you want specifically by name

Thanks Sic, I thought I had that configured appropriately per the video. I am posting a screenshot to see if it looks funky to you.

It's not really a major issue as you mentioned there are things like MQ2 buff me but I have just been digging into the extended features of the plugins. Appreciate the reply and work you and the rest of the team do.

It does not look funky. As mentioned, we won't try to buff people with spells that are too powerful for them after the next update.

When you start the plugin there is a list of spells that the plugin will try to use, those spells are assigned groups. Those groups do not change to lower level versions of those spells. So blessing of temperance will not work because you have something better.
These plugins are intended to allow you to make some choices relating to what to do in current content with the listed spells. So you could change your spell lineup based on the cleric plugins known list of spells that is output at the start. You cannot however add things that the plugin doesn't know about. The plugin will happily keep it memorized, but it won't do anything with it automatically.

Just to be clear, we won't try to cast spells that are too powerful for the intended recipient after the next update, but that doesn't mean we'll instead use temperance etc instead. We just won't spam buffs that won't stick.

I tend to skip around and ask a lot of questions but I happily watched every second of this video. I won't bore you with the details but I had some pretty awesome conversations with myself after.
Oh in them I did thank you. When I wasn't busy proclaiming I could now destroy the Universe!!!

Sic in the Druid Xtargetbuffing checkbox what is meant by assigned as "specific target"
it is the designation for an xtarget slow that is "specific target". this is an eq function - you target something and then right click your xtarget window slot and set "current target" or whatnot
