Problem - confirmation email

My brother is trying to subscribe to redguids. However, when he puts in his info he doesn't get a confirmation email sent to him in order to active the account. What does he need to do?

I just signed up, had same issue, took like an hour for the email to come thru. Gmail, did not go to spam when it arrived.
