Question - Command to reassign MA?

Apologies if this is something simple that I've just missed. Is there a command in kissassist (and muleassist) to assign a new MA without rerunning the mac? I need to change the main assist when a tank dies and just can't find if there is a command to do it.
I'm running a 54 man raid and I know KA/MA aren't really the right tool for the job. But it's still the tool I know best and at least somewhat works. KA has some odd lags on emu that for whatever reason MA fixes, so I'm running a mix of both

This could be wrong or right, not 100% sure since I use CWTN but ChatGPT to the rescue?

KissAssist​

You can update the Main Assist in KissAssist using the MA command. Here's the syntax:

/assist <character_name>


Replace <character_name> with the name of the new Main Assist. This will dynamically update the assist target for the macro.

MuleAssist​

For MuleAssist, you can change the Main Assist similarly by using:

/mac muleassist assist <character_name>


Replace <character_name> with the new Main Assist. MuleAssist dynamically updates the assist settings when this command is used.

Ignore the ChatGPT hallucinations

There is an undocumented ka command /switchma
/switchma <MainAssistToonName> <assist/tank/puller/etc> 1

this will change both the role and the main assist. You would use "assist" as he second arg. Just don't want to run this command on. You could promote your secondary tank from assist to tank role by using the tank role.

I also believe this command will also trigger the equivalent to a /switchnow, requiring the target of the new MA


For muleassist /changema toonname
