Problem - Cleric stuck in "heal mode" and thinks it's in combat

My cleric keeps getting stuck in combat and won't ever switch to buffs/rebuffs. After a fight he does not get the Soandso has been slain message with XP that all the rest of my toons get. Instead, he keeps thinking he is stuck in combat and never rolls over to buffs/rebuffs or medding.

I was talking with kaen about this today - i think this is related to the current kiss situation that makes it so healer won't rez unless you bump it forward a couple of feet

what is it actually doing where you say "it is stuck in combat" is it just sitting there, or is it actively doing something
 
My cleric is also getting stuck in a Chain healing loop when the Ice cures is on someone instead of curing the cures.

well that is related to the fact that the debuff is in the song window of the tank, and not on the buff window - so without using dannet or netbots there's no way for your cleric to know that your target needs to be cured :(
 
When I say he's stuck in combat, he just stands there until the next mob is pulled and will continue healing at that point. He just won't snap out of heal mode and go into buffing or medding.

can you try bumping him forward a few steps and see if he "knocks out of it"
