Thanks, but I've already updated the ini as per the first (or second, can't remember) post. Also updated it with some routes that aren't in the above list.

Also updated MQ2PiggyZone to the source listed in the first post, as well as made the changes to MQ2Commands.cpp and EQData.h as listed. Accordin to the text in the first post, the MAX_ZONES is only updated for DoD, could this be the reason and it needs the updated for PoR? Or is it just stating something wrong and is already updated for PoR?

An example. Yesterday I wanted to go from PoK to Arcstone (and the path in the INI is correct I triple checked) and piggy zoned me from PoK to PoTranq then it crashed. I kinda wondered because PoTranq isn't even in the list between PoK and Arcstone :(
 
just curious here.. is anyone else having issues with using a NPC that translocates with this plugin? I fixed it for me, but I wasn't sure if anyone else was having trouble. I think they added a distance check to NPC TL spells after the last patch.

ANY WHO. the fix is just taking out the 'move back' portion of the UseNPC function. Yes, it looks very much like a warp if someone saw you without the 'move back' part-- but at least it works.

Any reason when you do /zone from guild lobby, it reports a verbose "test subject" in the /say channel to all those around you?

That is really sketchy, and freaked me out the first time I was 2boxing and noticed my other toon say that.

This is repeatable, stand at the safe point and watch another toon do /zone poknowledge
 
Because it uses that little gnome dude to say " test subject ", all it does is send you to poknowledge.. which im guessing was a botched quest they never finished


in conclusion...

It's normal
 
Just comment that NPC teleporter out in your ini file like this:

Updated it to correct the problems peeps were having with NPC Teleporters and also updated Zone offset for recent patch... Sorry for it being so late hehe.
 
quick fix for the max_zones, just do a #undef MAX_ZONES and right under it make #define MAX_ZONES 0x189
dunno if it would work, but my guess is that it will.
 
I am having a problem compiling this for some reason and also I don't have a MQ2Commands.cpp is that my problem?

Updated 07/18/06:

- Offset Updated as of 7/18/06.
-Modified to include a /succor command.
-Modified source to include instructions on compiling to allow this to work. There is no need to edit EQData.h except what is explained to allow this compile to work.
-This does not mean that you do not need to change the offsets included in the .cpp, it only makes your compiling easier.
-Updated MQ2PiggyZone.ini included, sorry this is NOT compatable with the Progression Servers as it does use Plane of Knowledge as a waypoint.
-Updated to include TheZ's modification.
-Updated #define INFINITY so compiles on 2k5 will work.

BTW, your /succor as posted shouldn't work in instances. You really should take Siddin's...his is almost identical to mine.

Isn't it used by MQ itself for some things and needs to be set? I don't know that's why I'm asking.
 
Please include this fix so that you can compile MQ2PiggyZone in MSVS2k5 (express included) and all versions before to VS C++ 6.0. Because of the math.h header that is included in the VS programming in 2k5, it does not allow for a power or integer of infinity.

Replace:

Try downloading the zip that I have in here on this thread. It won't give you those issues. You've got a space between Heading on 134 and there's probably more spacing issues.

That's because you changed the eqdata.h file to have the safexloc, safeyloc and safezloc modifications which didn't need to be changed.
