Hello,

Thank you so much for your previous help! My husband and I were originally going to try the LIVE servers...hwoever we are scared of being banned. We looked into Project Lazarus and that seems to be a great fit for our play style. However, I am wondering if the tutorial that you previously posted for me that had us install the very vanilla etc will work with Project Lazarus? Any help is greatly greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!

Not sure if you've seen this yet or not, but there are a few Lazarus videos here: https://www.redguides.com/community...-2022-introduction-and-leveling-guides.83479/

48 minutes into the first video he talks about using the VV install and has a section where he talks about how to get it setup. It seems it works about the same as on a live server, but you have to make sure to select EMU from the dropdown (he shows this in the video).

I haven't tried it myself, but it seems like you should be all set.

VV works fine but if you play on laz you'll notice a pretty big push to use a build provided by laz + E3 as its what the bulk of the server runs, and what OOC / discord general focuses on providing help with. It mostly comes down to what automation you want to run. They may make changes in their build to better support E3. Meanwhile, their build won't include CWTN plugins like VV.

Thank you all so much for your help. I am going to go watch the video now. Can you please explain to me what laz +E3 is? I did download the Macroquest 2 but it seemed more complicated than the RG launcher which I was hoping to use again.

I was able to get some of the cwtn plugins on laz by using a build from Aug of 2021. If you watch the video doc legendary did with the monks and mage he has a link where to find them in the comments. The plugins seem fairly clunky here. I do think I'll end up using kiss assist for each toon once I learn them more to be more efficient for laz rules.

An older build of VV works fine with a couple quirks for looting and certain buffs for SKs. If using the CTWN plugins, use the BYOS (Bring your own spells) option and you'll be set for most things.

Kissassist works beautifully there as well. My bard loots for my 6 box team and does a great job twisting while assisting my team.
