Is it possible for a macro that I am running to send me a tell?

example:
instead of: /echo You do not have a target - ending macro!
something like: /tell ${Me.Name} You do not have a target - ending macro!

Would this work or not?
I would just test it but of course it's patch day:(.

Yes...but it requires docrack "talk to self" or something. I'd need confirm or deny on if it sends it through the chat server or if it echo's it locally as a tell for my next warning though.

Sending "-ending macro" to the chatserv or wherever is a simple "grep" away from getting you investigated and ultimatly banned.

So because I'm curious, why would you prefer tells instead of /echo ?

In that case do
Rich (BB code):
/echo ending macro
/squelch /endmacro
That will give you the echo, but won't print out the "The macro has ended" line that mq2 gives out when you end the macro.
