I made this sloppy, amateurish macro to create, one-by-one, a 53 man team to assist me in raiding on EQEmu. This uses the current carat input for bot commands. Please let me know if there are any changes that could be made to make things execute more smoothly. Everything I know about Macro scripting I learned from Microsoft Copilot, and I am sure it shows.

I made this delirious and off of no sleep between 7PM and 3AM after working a day shift on my swing shift sleep schedule, so please forgive any lack of polish. It works, and that's what matters to me. I will be following up with a script to use the #gearup command on each of them.

if you want to have a resource, please upload it as a resource - slapping something out of AI (copilot) and just slapping it on the forums is not how we curate, maintain, support, and care about our resources.

you can't use in everquest for example

and what does it exactly do?
/say ^create ${botName} ${tempClass} ${selectedRace} ${gender} it is creating randoms?

this doesn't really seem useful, correct me if im wrong

is this supposed to be ^botcreate?

whatever the case is - you should upload a resource as a resource so it can have things like:
- version history
- allow the launcher/redfetch to download it for folks
- discussion thread etc

Apologies, I will reupload appropriately; I am not a developer, as I have functionally no knowledge of macro script other than VERY basic diagnostics.
This creates a set of 53 bots to use for raiding on EqEmu.
I am using /say because when I did not, it would not work for me only using the carat to initiate.
The checkmarks and rocket ships are leftover from my debugging, as those symbols show up just fine in the EQ Logs and made it easier to sift through.
Here is a short log file demoing the use of this macro (see attached.)

I have uploaded this primarily for my personal use, but in case anyone else wants to use it, it is available, as I was not able to find anything else to fit my needs.

I have submitted the macro as a resource. This is my first upload here, so please let me know if I need to do anything differently. I do intend to educate myself on MQ2 scripting, but have completely zero experience, so I thank you for your insight.

I will take a look at fixing that, I did not realize that there was a limit, or rather, I do not think that there was previously! I will be uploading an updated version before Christmas with some new features, and have split bot spawning, creation, and commands into different tabs to keep things clean. I will implement a 15-character limit for naming. With the changes that were made to how bot spell casting commands are handled a few months ago, I have also added some new buttons for requesting specific spells be cast, such as calm and mez, sow, invis, ivu, etc. Mostly cleaning up the UI for those and testing them now.

I have been slowed down a hair by the gov furlough, had to do some extra work on the side to make ends meet!

I love the idea of this one. Bot management can be challenging for me. I usually end up with just a couple on a toon.

I have been a little bit busy of late with a new baby on the way and working the later shift, but I will look into getting this updated/repaired soon; I have fixed the naming to accommodate the shorter character limit, and am adding a function to automate forming groups and saving specific group makeups to be recalled later. With some of the changes that were made to bot's spellcasting and buffing commands, I will be adding some buttons to use some of the staple buffs as well. Not sure how useful this utility will be going forward since the PEQ stuff is no longer being maintained, but this has been a very fun and helpful utility for me on my own server, so hopefully someone else gets some fun out of it (once it has been un-broken)
