Currently running sk, berz, mag, nec, clr, and bard. I'm thinking about switching the bard with enchanter. And maybe the berz with bst or shm. Is there a better option for a switch? All in all, the 4 classes that I plan to keep are sk, mage, Necro, and CLR. I'm also trying to stay with classes with class plugins and not do duplicate classes. Thoughts?

I guess it depends. What are your reasons for switching?

My initial thoughts are that bard and chanter are both fine. I usually prefer bards, but either one works fine for that group. The chanter CWTN plugin is very good if that makes a difference for you.

It seems like you'll a bit of DPS switching out the zerker for no real benefit, but it all depends on what you're doing.

Of course, there's no wrong answer as long as you're having fun.

No real reason to switch out the berz other than just having pet/caster only classes. I've never really dug into the beast or how they operate other than they have a pet. The idea was to keep from having melee classes other than my tank. But I dunno. Places like crystal caverns and such when fighting on cliffs make it difficult to navigate through when your melee classes keep falling off edges during a fight.

That makes sense. I do like the pet classes too.

A lot of BST dps comes from their personal melee. You'd lose a lot having a BST out of melee.

Swapping in a shaman and enchanter would give you less DPS overall, but you'd have massive utility and heals for days. That would be a pretty fun group.

Bard or chanter both work. chanters are the king of CC, but bards bring a wider varity of ADPS.

Your ber does look lonely, bst wouldnt be bad in that group. bst dps wouldnt match the zerker head to head, but with ADPS support (ber provide next to none), fero, para, shock of many (mage nuke relies in # of pets in range), combat proc buffs, slow, debuffs, it would def make a strong group.

SHM can debuff, dps, slow, heal, buff, ooc rez, call, in combat clicky stick rez (after quest)and the pet is just annoyingly good enough to keep around. SHM are not point blank DPS (yes they can dd nuke), and dots take 30-60 seconds to be effective dps. Sometimes having that second healer though is 100% worth it (whilenleveling AAn and gearing, it does come in handy).
