Afternoon everyone!

First just wanted to say that I thoroughly enough RGMercs. It's been pretty effectively for me to utilize with my 3 toons + 3 mercs. Thanks!

One issue I find is that when my SK pulls and sometimes gets 2-4mobs - it's very common for my bard to catch threat and die very quickly - before my enchanter can mez them. Is there any options or settings I could utilize to enhance his survivability? I did a search through the config and didn't find anything related to fading memories. Perhaps that could be a feature that could improve survivability? Fade @ %HP - re-engage after XSeconds or another metric?

I don't use RGMercs but I would be shocked if there wasn't a setting to tell your toon at what percentage of health to engage mobs......Just a thought.
 
Sucks that is happening to you brother. I can say that since 90+ (when I started using RGL) I've only very rarely experienced this, and almost never to the point of bard death. If it is happening consistently , it makes me wonder what we do differently.

If I may ask (and apologies for the third degree), Is y[BGCOLOR=initial]our SK set up to use AE taunts, and what is your AE taunt count setting at? [/BGCOLOR][BGCOLOR=initial]Are you keeping up an aggro increase or using voice of thule? Aggro face slot armor? Etc, etc.. also, what are you pulling with?[/BGCOLOR]

To answer you directly, what you are asking is certainly possible, if you are convinced it's what you need.
 
I believe I have the default settings for this(below). I do use a face mask with 22% more threat. I pull with Terror of Jelvalak. It seems to occur most when my sk tags a mob and brings 3-4 back to the camp. they seem to jump him right away and drop him fairly quick. His gear is a bit lacking, but not atrocious. Perhaps I need to get him some defensive aa's/better gear? Any other suggestions? Not looking to create more work if there are things I can do on my end!

AE is certainly set up like it should be. Could be some other differences in our setups/spell selections/pull methods, but eh, chasing that difference down may not help you at all.

Answer is likely some defenses, but you could also add an ohshit style rotation based on health or perhaps xtarget aggro (I'm not fully versed in options on the latter).

There are some caveats, but copying the class config from the Lua/rgmercs/class_configs folder to the config/rgmercs/class_configs folder will let you play around if you so dare.
 
Check if you have reaching notes on, I'd turn it off. Turn combat subtlety on, if it isn't already.
 
Mine won't survive a 5-8 pull with RGmercs either. I remember Sic showing a pre-release video of mq2bard with Grind. In the Grind UI he set the assist-at to 100%, IIRC for mez start and it looked like it was catching mezzes a lot faster. I'm personally waiting until that plugin before picking my bard back up.

Just got clarity, mezzing doesn't care about assist values with the cwtn plugins, but I do keep all toons assisting at 100 💯% of the time
