Question - Bard optimization

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a shoutout to the incredible community here on RedGuides. I've been blown away by the utility of the software, not to mention the wealth of advice shared by members. KissAssist/CWTN have made my gaming sessions smoother than ever.

I'm currently working on fine-tuning my bard to prevent them from returning to the zoneline (or previous camp). I've read the '/camphere on' command from the KissAssist wiki, but I'd love to hear more insights from anyone who's dealt with a similar issue. Do other folks just set up macros to establish new camps w/ this command?

Additionally, I'm looking for the best way to add bard 2.0 clicking on cooldown into my setup. Any tips or advice on integrating this would be greatly appreciated. I don't want this to just run on a burn, i'd like it to happen on CD.

I was going to give this a try in the dps section:
DPS8=Blade|95|Cond1

This is useful if you have two bards in your group for some reason.

In your INI there is a camphere line turn it to 0. When you want to set up a camp use "Boxr" and the command /dgge /boxr camp. Or you can just do /returntocamp on any KA toon

I'm still pretty new to this, but my first thought was something like what I use for the shaman -
DPS1=Blessed Spiritstaff of the Heyokah|98|MA
Just with the bard epic item name instead. So hopefully we're not both wrong.

As for the running home... not so sure how to fix it. But I did find a pic of your bard that might explain why he runs.

Hotkeys for turning camp on/off or chase on/off will be your friend here for KA. The wiki has them listed.

/dgge or /bcg with the desired command will work well

You may also want to check out Sic's hotkeys if you have not already

Great replies...so, combo of the @DankDD and @BlankStare replies, i adjusted the line to this:

DPS1=Blade of Vesagran|98|MA

Once i get it all working properly i'll post my .ini to the resources.

if using dannet best to make 2 buttons

/dge /camphere

and

/dge /camphere off
/dge /chaseoff

That's lifted from Sic's hotkey.

The toon i drive w/ isn't running a kissassist or plugin, but my understanding is a simple hotkey w/ this info will broadcast it to all group members? (the "/bcg = broadcast to group"?)

One group member runs on a different pc.

Don't forget it's a double slash using EQBC. My recommendation would be to switch to dannet completely. It's amazing =). Unless you're running multiple computers

I run two toons on three PC's and dannet works great! Just takes a couple commands to get it set up on correct network first time you set it up.
