Thanks so much guys!!!

When I read about standup, it seemed as though it needed to be paired with FD on a monk.
Appreciate the quick reply =D

Nah, its awesome for those really stupid events with the FD mechanic. Stands you up so fast you don't even realize you were FD'd most of the time. Now, if you're trying to ACTUALLY use FD with a SK or Necro or Monk or something, you must remember to do a /melee standup=0 and then /melee save. Otherwise, your dude is gonna stand up right away and fuck up whatever split or wipe avoiding you were trying to do.

I have the following settings on all my toons but they stay FD when an aoe goes off. Has something changed with MQ2Melee?

aggro=1 (on tank)
resume=1
standup=1

UseMQ2Melee=1 in my kiss INI files. I also noticed that on the 1 toon I was manually controlling that it did not auto stand either. I believe the function is broken at the moment.

I've gone ahead and uploaded a video showing the settings on the MQ2 window and my monk not standing up after a FD. Same happens when I fight a mob with a AOE FD. If the FD fails they stand up, but if successful they do not stand up.

hoff - if you manually FD and then type /stand do you stand up?

If not you might somehow have something aliased to /stand

disclaimer - smarter people than i say /stand is built in and likely cannot be stopped.

please post your mq2melee settings, much easier to read here, than in a video, they exist in your server_charactername.ini in the release folder.

Here are my mq2melee settings on my monk. All my toons have standup=1 and resume=1

[MQ2Rez]
accept=off
[MQ2Melee]
disarm=1
dragonpunch=1
eaglestrike=0
enrage=1
facing=1
feigndeath=10
flyingkick=1
infuriate=1
kick=0
melee=1
mend=80
plugin=1
provoke0=469
provokeend=20
provokemax=1
provokeonce=1
resume=75
roundkick=0
standup=1
stickbreak=1
stickrange=75
stun0=469
tigerclaw=1
stickcmd=10 !front
version=8.700

okay doing some research on this
it seems the auto stand is dependent on the event that the fd is failed, as non fd classes will auto fail if a mob fds them

for your moink i would try clear out the settings, and load him up, with an empty ini, the do a /melee save
and see if that will work.

I did that and same result. I am just using my monk to try to test the settings. Last couple days I've been trying to fight a boss that does AOE FD and all my toons do not stand up, even when the FD fails so this has been driving me crazy.

well an easy way to bypass the auto stand is to make a holy with
Code:
/if (!${Me.Standing} /stand
and then a hotkey to toggle that on for all toons leave it off till you are fighting those named

hmmm yeah we can use kiss to stand up, but it would be nice for those who use mq2melee, if we could figure out what had changed recently for it not to work proper for some people.
