Question - Auto-Load, Auto-Invite Group

I'm out of town at the moment and going through the setup process on my laptop. I followed beginner video #2 and was successfully able to create a group profile and auto-load characters. I noticed after they all loaded that they weren't automatically invited into the group. Is this just something I need to do manually, or can I automate the invite process?

Thanks,
Dysanor

you can either do something like make a social to invite them all - or assuming you're using something like eqbc, i believe it invites them when it sees them join the server (like upon logging on)

Ok, thanks Sic. I just got to the video I about loading eqbv before auto-loading my toons, but now that they’re loaded, I see that they weren’t auto-invited. No problem, I’ll create a social like you suggested.

cheers,

i keep a social too - and i have mq2autoaccept configured as well so my dudes will auto accept the invites

/noparse /bcaa //bcaa //autoaccept add ${Me.Name} <--- looks a little crazy, but it will make everyone tell everyone else to autoaccept add them

then
/bcaa //autoaccept save

That is what I use Autogroup. All you have to do is this.

1. /plugin Autogroup load <-----------make sure that it is loaded. You can also use Pluginmanager to also load it.
2. /Autogroup Create <----------------Have the group leader do this. It makes the group set.
3. /Autogroup Add Player <------------Make sure you have the character targeted that you want to add. (if its a merc change player to merc.)
(note: do not change Player to your character name the command is Player or Merc)

Now when you have everyone logged in to the game this will group them up.

Also make sure that in the ini files for the character that AcceptInvitesOn=1 is set to 1 (1=on, 0=off)

Here's a method to create a macro that not only builds your group but also ensures they have the correct hotbutton page loaded and also sets group roles...
