Article: Automate AA Spending While Macroing

Looks like a great mac to add to my list!

Any chance to add an option to skip 'General' AA's?

All the good stuff is in 'Archetype' and 'Class' imo and it saves compiling an INI file =)

This a plugin and you create a list to buy just the AA's you Want. The brute force options starts in the class section then works its way through archetype then to general.

anyone made any ini's to buy as many aa's as possible that are not given in the grant.. ie i want to aa before i take the grant and buy as many not granted aa's first.. specifically looking for a cleric ini at this point if anyone has done this

How do you get this to work if you are maxed on all exp and you want it to buy glyph's? You dont ding for new AA anymore, so it wont check to buy glyphs.

Find a nice glyph to dump AA, costs 25 aa and does absolutely nothing /cheer

What I did is this, no clue if it's the best but I just started experimenting with glyphs today, so bare with me =)

Rich (BB code):
[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=1
BruteForce=0
BankPoints=5
[MQ2AASpend_AAList]
0=Glyph of Lost Secrets|M
1=Glyph of the Cataclysm|M
2=Glyph of Destruction|M
3=Glyph of Indeterminable Reward|M

Then make the holyshits or downshits for these glyphs.

Rich (BB code):
downshit0=/if (!${Me.Buff[Glyph of Lost Secrets].ID} && ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Lost Secrets]}) /alt act 7017
downshit1=/if (${Me.CombatState.Find[COMBAT]} && ${Target.Named} && !${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of the Cataclysm]} && ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Destruction]}) /alt act 589
downshit2=/if (${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Indeterminable Reward]}) /alt act 586
downshit3=/if (${Me.CombatState.Find[COMBAT]} && ${Target.Named} && ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of the Cataclysm]}) /alt act 7019

Now it will dump AA with Glyph of Indeterminable Reward, since it costs 25 AA and keep up your other Glyphs all the time.

If anybody has a better solution or suggestions, I am happy to receive them =)

THIS IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, NEEDS MORE TESTING!

I've used AAspend for the past month and really enjoyed it. Saves me a lot of time running to my computer to spend my teams AA's. Thank you for all of your hard work on this plugin!

Recently several of my toons have finished out their AA's. I am using holyshit's to have my characters use glyphs on named mobs. If I leave AAspend on brute=1 they buy the glyph again after it's used (which is what I want). The problem I've found is, whenever I hit 100 banked AA's AAspend will no longer buy the glyph after I use one. If I buy a bunch of glyphs of indeterminable reward and get my banked AA's down it will start buying them up again.

I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right so in summary. AAspend stops brute force purchasing when all possible AA's are bought and 100 AA's are banked. It will not restart if an AA becomes purchasable.

Just a heads up, I've changed my exp to AA to 30 and that is keeping me from banking 100 as fast, which works ok as a temporary measure.

Thanks again!

Rob

You can automate the use of Glyph of Indeterminable Reward.

I changed bank points to 5, so it will check for the lower glyphs more often.

Only thing I seen a few times is that it skips the lower glyphs every once in a while and waits till it buys Glyph of Indeterminable Reward.

Maybe changing it to bruteforce like you have might resolve that.

So, very dumb question I know, but how do I actually activate and configure this plugin?

Thanks!

I'm glad you did Bingles, I was wondering the same thing since I just started using mq2aa

It's not bad to have useful threads bumped once in a while. I'd rather that than have 827266282 threads about the same shit.

Cheers

I cannot get /aaspend brute on now to work on my toons. Only works on one but not the rest

Re: MQ2AASpend

I had that happen before, try deleting your entries and recreating them. May be a bad character or extra space in there somewhere.
