Question - Any way to not have my melee toons snap to the back of the mob?

Hello, I'm wondering if I change the role from "Assist" to "Tank" will this stop my melee toons from rapidly swinging around to the back of the mob? I'd rather they attack from whatever side they're currently standing and I'll adjust the mob on the tank that I play without MQ. I've messed around with the "stickhow" line and I'm not seeing any difference. When I'm doing open-world stuff that's a pretty easy giveaway if someone runs by and watches the toons move together to the back of the mob immediately and stay there. If my toons catch a few punches to the face that's fine.

I believe you know it is in the melee section of KA,
Rich (BB code):
[Melee]
AssistAt=99
MeleeOn=1
FaceMobOn=1
MeleeDistance=75
StickHow=Loose     <=This section
AutoFireOn=0
UseMQ2Melee=1
you could try "loose" or "!Front loose".
These seem to work well for me, but I usually only have 1 melee other than my tank so its not as noticeable.

Loose is good. Returntocamp=0 is good too, especially if you want to look less botted.

This works only while using KA? What about when manually playing but MQ2melee is loaded etc and you don't want to snaproll rear on your melee?

then you make the same setting in your character_server.ini under the mq2melee section.

I didn't see any snaproll info on character_server.ini

Would you mind showing what section yours shows for that in mq2melee?

woops i meant server_character.ini

if not there, add

stickmode=on

and then

stickcmd=loose !front

under the mq2melee section.

i believe. i dont use mq2melee much anymore.
