Question - Another newbie question

Question:

As I am leveling up and grabbing INI files from this site, I notice quite a few of them are very short. They appear to be missing whole sections. Is this because those sections omitted are not needed? Or am I supposed to be collating the new INI with my existing one? Or is there some utility I am missing that imports the changes?

ini sections that are missing would get auto-populated by kiss.

some folks just like to include "the meat" the dps section / heals etc - which would allow you to use the other defaults or to stuff you want

You can do as little or as much as you want with your .ini files.

I had taken a long break, came back and EQ alone had a lot of changes, the walk throughs are nice, not everything is answered, but it's enough to be dangerous LOL... that said, I might have as well have been new to EQ.

Discovering MQ2 was a gamechanger and I definitely found that learning and refining the INI taught me the most; experiment here, ask a question here, apply it there, seemed to teach me the most about it... I really enjoyed the older INI websites that walked me through (though I believe some are out of date or whatnot... they still were a really great place to learn a basic knowledge)
