Problem - Alt Toon- Aggro

OK... very noob at this. Just started playing around with KA a few days ago.

My main toon is a Ranger. My alt toon is a Ranger.

Issue w/ aggro.

I have my alt toon set to a camp with returntocamp 1 . When I pull and root and shoot with my Main... she will assist with autofire. Perfect!!!

The problem is when either the mob gets to close?? or I get hit?? (unsure how, why, or which) The alt toon runs out and tries to melee (gets up close with mob) which of course takes the aggro as mob is rooted and mob kills the alt.

I have played around with everything I could think of to keep Alt toon from doing any 1h melee at all and cannot find a scenario that keeps her from changing out of autofire. If i turn MeleeOn to 0 then toon no longer assists with autofire.

If I remember correctly. When autofire is on the character will try and use autofire first, but if the mob is to close then the character will engage the mob up close.
