Question - All my macros dissappeared

i setup all my macros and had them working last night, log in today to all of them gone from my socials tabs, did i do something wrong?

Sounds like the EQ client isn't reading the correct eqclient.ini file

How were your characters logged out of Everquest after you setup all of your hotkeys? If you logged off using /q then your settings weren't saved, the same is true if you didn't log them off at all but they D/C'd sometime on their own. If you logged off using /camp the settings should have been saved to the eqclient.ini files. I am not completely sure, but I do believe /camp desk should have also saved to eqclient.ini just like a normal /camp would, I have not tested to confirm this to be true though.

i believe i camped but could of /exit lol ok i'll have to reset them up lol took me quite a while to get them setup good lol

if you /camp or /camp desktop and crash while camping you get the same issue as /exit, the client will not save data from last session, so if you make changes to hotkeys, reset some xtarget settings, ui adjustments etc will not save until a successful /camp or /camp desktop happens.

is there a way to make it easy to copy the macros in to my ini files, i've been camping good and they are still not saving, trying to get off of the mq auto using for my new box but takes a hour each night to make the basic of macros to controll my war/clr/mag/enc/monk group

nm figured it out, ugg stupid me lol i changed all my regs and location where eq was at to run on my sdd cause i was having loading issues but found out it due to cpu affinty only using the first core on my i7 lol so i just fixed that so you can mark it as solved

Eh, you don't need those fancy extra cores anyway

i had to fix it as it was taking almost 45 mins to load the 5 accounts and then all 5 was laggy.
i'll make a post tomorrow night with what i did
