Hey guys,

My team is consists SHD 95 / MAG 95 / ENC 95 / WIZ 95 / DRU 95 / CLE 95 and all are at least RoF T1 geared and I want to level them to 100.

A few question's...

- Anyone have a loc of the specific sweetspot?

- Will you need MQ2Navigation to pull proper in BD?

- Let my SHD pull or will it be more efficient to let my ENC pull?

Thanks in advance!

I will wait till my pally dings 100 before I give the location I use.. but its the same as the other guys that have posted about it im sure..

No you dont need navi

Sk should pull as if you get adds chanter can get ate very fast...

Honestly its not hard to figure out the sweet spots if you run around and check out the zone.. I can say 1 spot isnt to far from 2 zone ins... but you will have to go look... also there is some gorillas near by as well

i have 100 mage and my sk is 99 cleric and chanter is 96 with the haroic gear. I kill beetles in shards landing. im sure you could handle that as long as your chanter will mess the adds

problem is look at the exp those beetles give most are like 4% to a raf on aa some give 30 % though but either way the beetles you got to kill a lot to get good exp , much better to stay back in hot t4 or alarian zones

Hey, the spot is rather easy to find. Look at the south-eastish part of your map. You will see a river that splits in two towards the edge, and close to the edge, 3 rotdogs ''naeya something'' forming a triangle with crocodiles in the river. You want to sit between the 3 rotdogs but hug the wall. Have your pull rad to 900 and have your SK pull, make sure you have levitate up at all times and you'll be good to go. You can bind one of the rezzing toons there, nothing pats in the way.

Thanks for all the replies people!

In the meanwhile I already found out about both spots in BD, the problem is Nighthowl though, my box team cant handle him and he can spawn in both camps.

So when he shows up I move to to the other camp, etc.

thats odd, my sk is setup to 700 range with pull, and ive only ever encountered nighthowl only twice.. and thats when I changed locations slightly and it pulled more from his spawn areas

I've boxed for weeks in BD in and around these places. I've noticed that the named (A Twisted Strangler, Tangledeath, and Nighthowl) appear to spawn in streaks. I'll go days without seeing them and then I'll see a dozen in a couple hours. I've seen at least one of them at every camp I've tried, even the far east wall.

Luckily, my box team can handle them when they come solo (or my bard locks down the regular spawns first), but whenever they come with adds, my tank doesn't prioritize the named target, so my bard will die trying to mez it and everyone dies. Once I even had the two named bushes one me at once, but I was luckily at my keyboard and was able to kite one around while the rest of my box team handled the first one.

I do not have anything set up to AFK but if I did and was leveling 95-100, I would be in Kaesora Library. The zone should be a ghost town now that SK/Ranger/Zerkers have no reason to go slaughter there. Everything is light blue at 95 and you could very easily get to 99. After 99 quite a bit turns green, but still possible. You really have no risk of dieing and other than maybe an aug hunter or something, you shouldn't encounter too many people. The zone is very big anyway and there are tons of spots you could set up.

My range is set to 1000, otherwise I run out of mobs too fast :S

I box 8, all 100 except my pally... I have enough dps and I never run out of mobs.... maybe ill take a SS and PM you the location of where I am

100 sk, bst, nec, shm, chanter, brd, wiz, and 99 pally.. and can toss in a 100 mag or clr...

if you can out dps my group....

he spawns literally at about 750 ft, vs the 700 that i have in my range lol... you CAN get him to spawn.. but its super hard to get the pather while pulling everything else

I have never spawned a named in BD from my camp and I have distance set to 1200 ... Longest run was 6 days n nights afk

Got killed by nighthowl again with 700 range. Range 1200 in the south part with no nameds is impossible imo.

It feels like if Nighthowl is haunting me /cry

12 hours up and no nighthowl... ive only seen him twice at this camp, and thats when I pulled with a larger radius than 700, not quite sure how you are spawning him unless different servers have slightly different spawn locations and they moved his roamer ph up slightly..

we are pulling from the exact same spot so I cant understand it

He adds when I pull a mob, I never pulled Nighthowl directly.

Problem is I can't mez him and kiss stays on the mob that's being pulled first, so it's certain death for my team.

I'm camping at -5525, -1179 and pulling at 440. I don't pull any named and usually don't run out of mobs at this range. You can up your range to 600 and grab several more, but make sure you have levitate up as you will have to cross some of the streams.

I've been afk'ing here for weeks and haven't pulled a single named. If you are on FV ignore this post lol.

Gonna try to face him I guess, any tips on killing Nighthowl?

Have your group spread out with casters mounted in the back, he casts this thing where he pulls members of the group to him but being mounted negates it (or you will get interrupts). Also, have it trigger burn in KA, and have your cleric go into overdrive on healing (with shits or with burns) because he can do a good bit of damage pretty quickly. Other than that, he's a pretty straightforward tank and spank fight, and is no harder than any other t3 VoA named (maybe even a bit easier).

Wooooooot!!! I killed the fecker even with an add /cheer

Thx for the tips and assists guys!
