Question - Advice Request on Group

Currently running a group of level 55-60 :
1) Warrior
2) Zerk
3)Bard
4)Druid
5)Cleric
6)Magician
I have been thinking about switching the Warrior out for an SK for better AOE aggro.
Will this be helpful for AFK pulls when I get an add?

Any other class switch advice before I level up further?

drop the druid, swap for a BST or another melee DPS (Zerk/Rog), keep warrior, they rock, never have had any issues with AoE aggro with my war, in fairness the SK does rock for it, but war is still the best tank
 
if you gonna switch out the war, i would also switch out the bard. and the zerker i think,

Tank: Shadowknight
Healer: Cleric
Support: Druid
Support2: Enchanter
DPS1:Wizard
Dps2: Magician

all these classes do something with debuffs and buffs that synergises well with each other.

I'm sure people will chime in about afking and how that you should take every precaution if you are going to do so as it puts your accounts at risk and also continues the stereotype and bad name MQ2/VV/KA gets from people who don't know. MQ2Posse, GTFO etc - check em out. Just be smart and you'll be fine.

Now on to your group question.

I really enjoy my warrior, stable and strong, but I also have a group with an sk, huge aoe and taps and such.

For purely group game, SK is a very strong choice, but warrior would work just fine also.

If I started fresh I would likely do something like

SK
Clr
Bard
Zerk

and then 2 additional of any nature - shammies are popular right now, the adps is strong and the buffs and extra heals can help out too. I enjoy my Bst too

If you're digging the mage/druid it might be worth considering going a more caster build group like Kaen suggested.

Up until recently I had both enchanter and bard, and it was overkill for CC and I was leaving a lot of dps out due to lack of synergy and ability to use that adps
 
sk sham bard 3 x zerk - can drop a zerker for a cleric merc if things get really tough. but mobs drop that fats you wont have much need
 
I just rolled a SK since I have not played one in a long time. (Normally I have a Warrior). I run with this and so far no issues.
1) Sk
2) Shaman (max AA)
3) Bard
4) Mage
5) Zerker
6) Ranger

Due to the pets from the Sk, Shaman, Bard and Zerker the “of many” line of nukes from the mage hit for a lot, and frequently. The Sk life taps help supplement heals. Warriors are so dependent on others that I am enjoying partially controlling the tanks health.
 
Shd, Clr, Bst, Zrk, Zrk, Rog.

Walk up to bout anything, throw your epeen at it, it dies. No CC needed. Obviously you need gear, AA and good equipment. I fine this set up amazing and never med break, which is key.

Anyone has a dps parse on the two comparisons?
3x gets the alliance, rogue can provide some adps buffs... hmmph:raise:

what buffs does the rogue supply? its only the rogue that gets the 25% boost if they behind mob iirc
the zerkers supply warcry and various other adps buffs

does Gamparse work anymore? is there any other dps parser that works ?

Zerkers give group Cry Carnage, Bloodlust Aura & Dissident Bloodsplash
  • Increase Accuracy by 20% (Cry Carnage - up to 22% at rk. III)
  • Increase Chance to Critical Hit by 100% (Cry Carnage)
  • Increase Critical Hit Damage by 30% of Base Damage (Bloodlust Aura)
  • Increase Chance to Crippling Blow by 90% (Dissident Bloodsplash - 12 sec group buff every 60 seconds)
Rogues give Thief's Vision group buff (lvl 96)
  • Increase Chance to Hit by 5%
  • Increase Accuracy by 229% (Up to 252% at rk. III)

Do rogues get any other group buff AA, group recourses or such?

Zerkers also have their Warcry range which is a AE - War cry ofBraxi a PB AE for example -
Has a 2% chance of triggering *$2%n and increases incoming melee damage by 15% for up to %L hits.

And also Ancient Cry of Chaos, hundred hands effect, increase attack by 60
