Guide - AddClicky Information

It's this one I'm attaching a png of. I've got into combat a couple times and got back to downtime a couple times afterwards now, and it's seemingly all working perfectly after the reload. Which, btw, I'm gonna be a total simp loser and use this unrelated opportunity to say thanks so fucking much for the plugins. I had washed my hands of EQ for a final time most likely, but on a whim a while later I figured fuck it lemme see if I can actually play this game like it's Baldur's Gate 2. You and CWTN are the only reason Daybreak is getting any of my money still.

lol welcome back homie

If I no longer have the clicky available to put on cursor, is there any way to remove it from the list? I realize there is very likely no harm in still having it on the list, but you know.... OCD and stuff.

it doesn't do any harm

if somehow you got rid of the item, you'd need to go and remove it from your ini --- in the future will allow to remove stuff from the list without cursor, but in the meantime that is your only option (we really dont want you to go in the ini)

add my sk's epic as clicky and checked my ini file too and i 100% sure its corrent,
but showclickies dispaly ornament(just a dispaly/match item miss i think)

k will look into it
you should, however, check the FAQ - you don't need to add the epic to use, as you actually and actively will disrupt our burn cycle.

What is the best way to change an item from Offensive to ManaGroup or vice versa? I have seen you don't want people going in to the ini and I get that, but not seeing another way.

Also, I see the 60 in the ini on mana self and mana group. Are these modifiable? Not sure if that has changed from the post in 2021 to 2023. This % is also why I am thinking of pushing things around. I would rather spam the feather as offensive even if it is wasteful vs waiting until 60 is hit.

remove it from offensive.
add it to managroup.

they "weren't" modifiable, but they are now.
it is part of the new updates we're doing with the new ui likely next month - but you can do it now

I apologize if I have missed this but is there a status command to show a list of what clickies you have configured in the MQ window? Obviously we can open the ini but I try to leave those alone most of the time.

For example
/mag addclickies status

generates the following output in the MQ window

[Offensive] Sorcerer's Blade
[Defensive] Unified Phoenix Feather
[Cure] Cleansing Rod

etc...

Thank you very much, apologies for not finding it on my own. Kick-ass stuff you guys would not be playing EQ without these plugins

[Special]
Clicky0=Aurora, the Heartwood Blade|On
Clicky1=Inflicted Outrider Chain Coat|On
BP Clicky=Inflicted Outrider Chain Coat|On
Epic=Heartwood Blade|On

my ranger doesn't seem to be using the epic 2.0 click. anything here incorrect to cause that?

Do you have the 2.0 on you? Only reason your Epic=Heartwood Blade|On should be present is if it didn't find Aurora, the Heartwood Blade on you.

i changed the Epic= to the Aurora name. yea i'm not sure i upgraded the 1.5 to the 2.0 last week, but i noticed it wasn't using it. So hoping that'll fix it.

Edit: it fixed it :)

Strange how it didn't automatically change that upon loading the game, as i've had the 2.0 for a week.. it was using the 1.5 before i upgraded. Something to look at i suppose

Okay, I see the error was actually from us changing how "Special" items are added. The code has been updated so it should be self updating after the update.

Along that line of thought - Is there a way to control when your 2.0 epic fires in combat? '/shd showcilckies' has it listed under 'special' but doing a '/shd removeclicky special' isn't allowed. Just curious how to make it manual, or understand what's firing it in combat. New Heroes mission is bullying me and trying to survive specific parts of encounter.

No there isn't, but you can disable it - this isn't published yet as we have a revamp we'll be coming out with

In the mean time check the FAQ of mq2eskay about usage.

Question: New Ui Syntax to disable Clicky

Hello Sic and CWTN, i watched the video on the new UI and did not see a new syntax to deactive clickes instead of removing them. for example

/war Removeclicky ShrinkGroup "Ring of the Ancients"

is there a syntax to not remove the click but just to deactivate it from the new UI window?

Thanks

toggleclicky

/shd toggleclicky <group> "name of item in quotes"
thx sic works perfect, another question, is there any way to have a check to ensure that the clicky is off or on? then to do the command based on what your trying to do? seems that the command is just reversing its previous state? maybe can we do a /war toggleclicky ShrinkGroup "Ring of the Ancients" On|Off?

thanks

no, it is a toggle
currently there isn't a CWTN member for it (but will be later).

Hi Sic and CWTN,

was wondering if you guys were able to find the time to create a togle activate/deactive of some sort to the clickies? thanks. I know i had asked sic and he said he would look into it. if this has been implemented i would loike to know the /slash command to do so. Thanks again

in before 'no, we're not going to do that'

or

in before 'check clickies tab, to add, remove, de-activate' in the plugin settings

Question: AddClicky Activate/Deactivate

Hi sic, i know i asked this a month ago and you said you will look into this.

Were you ever able to make a slash command to activate/deactive the addclicky? as stated before when u do the slash command its just a reverse from its current setting. guess what im asking is to check if a certain click is activated or deactivated ... thanks

maybe /addclicky Ring Of The Ancients Deativate/activate or something within that?

once again, thanks

If I have multiple "circle of" clickies set for combat or burn for multiple cwtn characters, how will they interact with one another? Will they just check if the buff is on and fire it if it's the next thing in their routine, or conflict somehow?

we try and help them stagger with some staggering delays internally, but we're not looking at anyone else, just at ourselves - so if everyone tossed them at the same time because they individually didn't have the buffs and their item was ready - they'd throw it.

eventually actor incorporation will help us redo that system

Looks like there might be a bug in how the plugin is handling mounts since some of the updates.

I have The Radiant Hawk Harness (LS Progression), but I want the Efreeti Carpet to be used. Both are on my inventory keyring, and in the in-game configuration, I have the RHH to be the used buff when clicking any mount.

When I click off the Mount buff, and using the below CWTN config, it does nothing.
[Clickies]
Clicky0=Efreeti Carpet|Downtime|On
Clicky1=Radiant Hawk Harness|Downtime|Off

If I activate the RHH in the plugin, it instantly recasts mount/buff. If I have no mounts stored in the config or just the eftrrei Carpet and load it, it finds the RKK and activates that over the efreeti carpet.

Bottom line, the plugin currently forces you to use the best mount item you have visually. Given that you can tie other buffs to it, can this be corrected to recognize that I really do want the plugin to click my Efreeti Carpet?

I should add, this is an issue for ALL plug-ins, but I posted here as this is the toon I did the analysis on.

deactivate any clicky you don't want us to use and we won't use it - if you remove it, we'll just add it back

but when you do the "make this item cast a spell it doesn't say it casts" we're not going to use it - because eq is literally making something cast a different spell than it says it does

so if you use "stat mount" and it doesn't match your addclicky, we're not going to click your other item - this may be something we handle down the line - but it is an extreme very low priority - there are a lot of potential problems.

Thanks for the quick feedback Sic! I had brought it up as I'd much rather have plugins choosing the carpet rather than a bunch of them flapping their ass off on the hawk during the Ogna T3 raid. But I completely understand the reasoning/priority on the issue, you guys have bigger fish to fry. I'll just handle this another way :)

Keep up the great work!!

I apologize if this has been asked/answered. I searched but didn't come up with anything. I'm trying to figure out how to best leverage a Geomantra clicky. The obvious answer would be downtime, except that doesn't really help in the context of a raid event where I want to refresh it as soon as the item is ready, regardless of combat state.

Am I correct in assuming this isolated use case is outside the scope of the add-clicky functionality, and is better handled with a LEM condition or React, or am I missing something obvious? Thanks!
