I haven't seen this zone mentioned in most guides. In the northeast section of the zone when you look on the map you will see there is a patch of land where mobs path all around, but not directly through (on the map it will be surrounded by ground spawn plant objects). I set up camp right in the middle, and was able to pull mobs from 360 degrees around the camp with a 4 character/2 mercenary group. There are many named nearby - and you have a random chance of both rank 2 spells/tomes dropping and containers like the (tradeable) 'Scuffed Weapon Crate of the Mercenary' (20 slot, 100% weight reduction) dropping from them. Since you have so many more mobs available to you (360 degrees around you) you can stay there longer than a lot of other spots. When you're done you can run maybe 10-15 seconds over to the northeast section of the zone wall to lay down a campfire/origin/sell/come back with no fear of any mobs coming near you.
It also didn't seem to have any vital quest mobs or anything that would impede others from getting to something they need, so people tend to not come around the area the whole time I am there.
