Question - 2 small issues one large

Biggest issue, my cleric is not healing or buffing at all. Have looked through my ini and compared to some of the files on here and am seeing nothing glaringly wrong.

Smaller issues, how do I turn off the melee stick and auto use of discs for my tank I am using to drive my group?.Issue three, shammie is not casting Roar of the Lion. Unsure on placement of it so tried it in a few spots.

For the cleric:-
1. Gem5 should just have the spell name.
2. The "BuffsSize" and "HealsSize" should match the number of entries. Strictly speaking it should still work but I suspect it would slow down. e.g. you have 14 heals defined so use HealsSize=14
3. Is the file correctly named? e.g. did you create them by running the macro with yourself targeted first?

For all:-
Does the output when you run kiss say anything that might indicate an error? Are you trying to run with mq2dannet or eqbc?

For the tank - you might want to turn off mq2melee OR run in manual mode. Personally I run my tank in "tank" mode, and use /mqp to pause her when I want to pull, I preferred that to manual mode (YMMV).

If the sizes don't match it automatically adds the missing entries to the user ini with NULL defined.

Getting no error on cler when macro is running, just stands there, no spells at all. Re did the sizes to match number of heals/buffs on both, as well as the renaming of gem5. I am running eqbcc, which is showing my shammies dps and his heals. When starting the Kiss macro, I get no error messages in any way. Restarted macro and still doing exact same with cler.

Sounds like its not loading the same ini.

I have a couple toons where it made a kissassist_server_name.ini instead of the standard kissassist_name.ini so check for that. Also double check you don't have a typo in the toon's name in the filename. Basicly make sure the /macros folder doesn't contain some other toon-name ini that it might be loading instead of the one you're working on.

If you're not seeing any issue with the name, copy the filename from the /macros folder and then force KA to load it like this:
/mac kissassist ini kissassist_Gandalf.ini

In the Melee section of your INI file, change UseMQ2Melee=1 into UseMQ2Melee=0. That'll turn off MQ2Melee and then Kiss will control how your toon fights.

Files are all named correctly. Should I try to delete the Ini and redo?

Maybe just rename it, let KA make a new one and edit that one.

Try putting an error in the buffs section too, mispell a buff name or such. Then when you start up KA the first time, the /kisscheck routine should read each section and report the typo. If its not reporting the typo, then it is somehow still loading the wrong ini.

Another pretty rare error, can be the Vanilla installer making a new folder for MQ2. So the icon you start may be loading another folder. I'd done a custom install folder and at some point, the installer reverted to the default Release/Macros folder. So my MQ2 wasn't seeing any of the ini files in my custom folder until I figured out the issue.

I saw another post today that mentioned a healer wasn't buffing too. So it could be a code issue.

Back to your original post, I do the sham Roar in DPS like this:

DPS2=Roar of the Lion|100|MA

Update... I'm an idiot and figured it out, hhad a hidden file as someone mentioned earlier. Thanks for all your help with getting started
