TAR I was under that impression as well.
I have been using this INI for about a week now, only thing I notice is if my Main tank dies the shaman doesn't try to call him or even heal anyone else he just dots and does his thing. I can't even manually target the tank to call him it keeps switching to the NPC without ending the macro. Other then that this seems to be working well.

That's the error. It doesn't not recognize my pet as a Tank. Works for my Druid, but not Shaman.

I always just add pet to extended targets and have heal XT on. Mark the Mage as the Tank and the assist. No issues in doing that.

I copied this exact thing to my shaman, it's pretty great to see the shaman so busy. The only issue I have is my shaman will malo, slow, throw out a heal, then sometimes will keep the mob targeted while my HP slowly goes down. He'll straight up let me die and never untarget the mob. Some fights he does amazing and is healing like a champ, its hit or miss. I've tried changing the percentages that heals are cast, staggering them starting at like 90 and every few percent have another set to cast and not seeing much or any difference. Ideally he'd malo, slow, then heal like a madman and throw out aDPS goodies. Is there a setting that I need to tweak to get some more healing action and less targeting the mob doing nothing action?

Viviv what group make up are you using and what areas are you using the shammy as main tank in? is this working ok against named in both EOK and ROS? is your tank raid geared or group geared?

I use this ini with a few slight tweaks to the heal percentages, otherwise it's all the same. Is there a way to have the shaman stop toggling between the mobs and my tank? It's very frequent. The shaman will keep the mob on target until a heal is required, will heal tank then go right back to targeting the mob. If there are several mobs in camp he'll rotate through each one between heals. I've tried tinkering with the DPS section limiting each cast to ONCE and it will still target the mob without doing anything.

I didn't think this was much of an issue until a group happened to be running past and saw a shaman, they targeted and sent a tell requesting buffs. They saw him rapidly switching back and forth between the mob and tank on HOTT. That isn't super subtle and I'd like to prevent it from becoming an issue if another group that knows what's going on stumbles upon me and also wants buffs.

Can't get my shammy to even act as a healer lol.. Throws out malo / slow, sometimes slows over and over... Some times dosen't.
MA's hp getting lower and lower until i alt tab to check. He dosent even have the MA in target at 30% Health. Some times he heals, but mostly not.

Trying to tweak, specially with Turgur's going off so much. Havent got it yet :/

You may need to add a condition to Turgurs. There was a similar post here, where shammy was spamming slow because the debuff on the mob isn't called "Swarm" so it keep's thinking it hasn't landed.

Try something like:

DPS1=Turgur's Swarm|99
DPSCond1=${Target.BuffsPopulated} && !${Target.Slowed.ID}

Or a simple |once and hope it lands on the first try.

Casting turgur's like crazy, poision dd and malo. No heals what so ever, unless MA is under 20%, will cast Intevention. Some times....

Hmm, maybe start a new thread with your full ini posted? The other issue I've run into with healers that have DPS on too, is if you have background FPS limited by EQ or mq2FPS/Viewport, that the healer can be very slow to react and switch between modes.
