WOS good aa??? what ???

I didn’t want to put this in the strategies and cheats section cause this really is not a strat. I just found it odd that I was actually making decent aa in WOS. We started out on the south wall (S1 camp). And with the group we had was way overkill for that camp. The aas were pretty slow here (as you can imagine). We were helping a shammy get runes is the only reason we were there. (And yes I suggested we go to the orc camp in stoneroot for the runes but shammy didn’t have DODH. Would of went a hell of a lot faster ) So anyways one of the guys from five rings said lets go to the sw caves. I have never been there but wasn’t expecting much (less that ½ an aa in 45 mins) well we went to here.


This way you have a map. Well we go into the cave and start killing. 5 or 6 mobs later I hear a strange noise. PING aa. I was like ok. So I started watching the aa bar. 3-5% aa a kill. And we were killing fast. Well a Dragorn Blightkeeper was up so killed him and got the shammy a rune. Lots of diamonds dropped there. I got 3 diamonds, 4 blue diamonds, and random peridots and emeralds.

The mobs hit me (70 bstlord 390 aas 1492 ac 10534 hp fully buffed) for about 500- 700 hp and could be slowed. So a real tank would get hit for less. And I had a druid for a healer, and he was nuking a bunch. My point is they were pretty gimp for the aa I was getting. We were there for 2 hours and I got 6 aa out of the deal. I thought that was pretty good. I would of got more at RSS or POFIRE, but I seriously don’t think I could of tanked there. Also we were close to the kyv pureshot on the way out and killed him too.

Our group had a 70 bst 70 dru 70 necro 67 shammy 70 wiz 70 pally. We had huge DPS. The mobs would be like 100% ,92%, 84%, 50% ect… it was dropin fast. Well anyways try this camp out. I know I liked it.

Moved to the Strat section. This is a good strat for AA. A well balanced warrior with a shammy can duo in that area slowly. A well balanced group could clear it out in less than 20 mins and pull outsdie till repop. The aa in the cave is comparible to MPG on the see invis side

The good thing about thias cave is the repops are fast too im talking like 15 min repop or so we cleared cave then ran back to begining and pulled maybe 2 mobs outside and then repops started hapeneing. CAUTION : the mobs dont pop in order. its kindof of sparatic. Some on 12, some on 15 mins pop time. So be careful 1st time thru till you get a feel for it. But everything in the cave cept the end is single pulled.

Is this where the Murkgliders are? Do you think this is safer (easier single pulls) than DoD orc camp?

I loved doing the caves back when I made groups in WoS. The NW caves are good too, I forget the xp, but theres some nice drops. Not upgrades for me anymore but I'm sure for some people.

Well orc camp you get alot more loot. (runes sell well). And the orcs hit alot harder. And they take longer to kill. I make about 2 aa per hour (depending on group) at orc camp. And it takes a good puller at orc camp.

Everything in cave i pulled (beastlords are horible pullers unless they use the green pet trick) I pulled with shas revenge which has a big agro radius and had no problems. I had the proc snare on my pet (they died way before they could run lol) But they do run. You face dragorn and ukan mostly in the cave. So if you have a group with a weak tank this is the place to go.

There are no murks here at all that poped for us

We may have been lucky but got 3 runes in 2 or so hours. Orc camp i can get 12 in 2 hours.

Judging by the big green circle on the map, I think he's talking about what is NW caves on my server. The one that's full of dragorns, and not the murkglider one that's in the south.

I will try this tonight. Thx Someone for tip and Thx NC23 for pointing out green circle. Have been to SW murkglider caves before so assumed that might be what he was talking about.

I will try 6-boxing it tonight with 70 Pally pull/tank, Clr using AFcleric (works great) and Dru-Enc-Brd using Autobot and Rng assisting with hotkeys. Enc Debuffs and mezzs adds decent if not to many at once. Dru dots/dd. Bard just twists life. Dru-Enc-Brd Autobot .ini's all need finetuning to work optimally and it sounds like this is a great place to do that.

doesn't killing dragorns hurt your faction if you want to do Tier1 T2 armor quests?

2 of those 6 are 'good' dps. The other 4 are nowhere close.

Good info though. I'll go check it out. How many mobs are in the cave? Can it support a group pumping out 3k+ dps with limitless spawns or would we sit around twiddlin our thumbs?

All in all sounds like a great place for mid-low end groups to go and rake in some nice xp.

Farm DoDH if you have 3k DPS and need spawns

not at all...

there are only two things i know of that reduce your DL faction.... one being the Beastlord 1.5 girplan kill in Dranik Scar (each girp give a negative DL faction), tand they other i can't remember.

Although no regular exp mob will hurt your dranik loyalist (tier 1 & 2 oow) faction.
