Edit: Took out the the additional delays and loop because simply put it doesn't need it. With the original one the GMCheck would have taken at least 1m 1s for doing what only takes about 2s to do ...

Here you go ... a GMCheck that works off of a /who all GM.

Made it easy to upgrade you mac's simply take out your old function for GMCheck and add

Basic but real nice.....Saves extra coding :)

Is doevents needed to register an event occuring ?
 
As far as I know it does ...

Granted I'm not that great with events ....

I ran it with no prob's for about 30 minutes .. then I got tired of waiting for the guide to log off of my server ....
 
just a word to the wise...

A couple of weeks ago, I was doing a creator run (puke). GM shows up, does not show up on /who, has normal blue character lettering, does not show up on GM list.....

GM checks, imho, have become obsolete as they seem to be moving around incognito these days.

In any event, the dude showed up to return some epic turn in items to a shaman in the group who had his epic turn ins messed up some how.
 
Fully agree ... I run EQIM on the side with my handy list of GM's invis or not they still show up there, might even be one reason they stop releasing EQIM.
 
I've got

in my HUD, and I have yet to miss a GM with that line...pops up all of the invis ones, too, that I've noticed.
 
Does that only show for your zone or all zones? Would like to see them soon as they spawn into happy land not when they plop on my head.

*Edit* I guess its pointless now for my main account but will help out on my other 2 accounts. Suspend is not forever though right? Right?? Ahhhhh :eek:

There's no way through MQ2 to query the server for info on other zones, aside from a /who all. So...no. Only your zone.

That is one of the most useful things I have ever read on Redguides

Edit: My EQIM Box just got 10 GM/Guide names added to it....turns out one was on ...rofl :)
