Does anybody want/need an auto-swarm kiting macro for bards? if so, i'm as bored as can be and would be willing to write one from scratch.

These are the character classes that i have and as such these are the only types that i can really test without help. So if you need any macros for any of these classes, just give me a hollar and i'll write one (while butchering a few in the process most likely).

here's the situation
i am going to group my bst with my cleric what i am lookin for is a macro that i can play bst and have cleric heal pet and bst

stats on cleric is he just got lvl 44

i have a pl assist one that will heal one toon and interface with him and buff and everything but what i want is that he will target anyone in group if they need a heal including pets

gunna take him to dulak harbor and then gunthak and do his tamp quest with necro and bst on gunthak beach they'll make short work of this quest

i can test most here's my list keep in mind i have 2 accounts lvl/class/and skills above 150

AFCleric.mac

Run the macro with Main Tank targeted.
Usage: /mac AFCleric <%health> <Heal spell>
Defaults to casting Complete Healing at 60%

This Cleric macro operates in 4 modes:

autohealmode=0 will watch a single target's health
relentlessly. The cleric will not heal self or group, only
the specified Tankname at the specified %health.
If the Tank takes dmg fast enough that HP is less than 70%
of the specified %health, the patchspell will be cast.
The Tank does not need to be in your group.

autohealmode=1 will watch Tank as above, but also heal
self and even attempt to cast DA if self HP get too low.

autohealmode=2 will watch Tank, self, and also the rest of
the group. Heals will go first to the person in group with
lowest HP percentage. Healtypes for people other than Tank
and self will be based on Class and HP percentage.

autohealmode=3 is exactly the same as mode 2, except that
Tank HP and self HP are double checked immediately before
healing anyone else. If Tank or self HP are low enough to
justify a heal, they get it first even if other group
members have lower HP. IE: it tries not to let Tank or
self die while healing that overnuking wizard. =)

trying to get the AfCleric.mac
working for me. But i am not understading how to add in the spell_routines.inc I Tryed Cuting and pasting it at the end of the Cleric macro and tryed to make Spell_routines its won macro.
 
Just put copy and paste it into spell_routines.inc (a new file), put that in your macro directory. It's called by the macro, it doesn't need to be pasted on the end of the macro.
 
The biggest problem I ran into developing swarm kite macros is that there is no reliable way to get the mobs back onto your pet once you develop some form of residual aggro.

If I am really swarm kiting I convert from circles to figure 8's forcing the mobs chasing me to run directly through my pet as it is beating on another mob. But these movements are unpredictable and worse aren't even linearly dependant (there is more than 1 movement pattern needed for each unique mob pack position).

If you can get this working reliably my hat is off to you. This was the holy grail of bard macros back in the day and I don't think anyone solved it. But if anyone can it is you!
 
Just an idea... But you might consider the ole ping pong macro.... Instead of moveutils circle routine like every single bard macro out there.... why not pick a quite spot... plot 2 points say....200 units away from each other....get yourself alot of mobs in the area to start off... charm one... warp to 2nd loc.... wait til Target.Distance < 50 ... warp to first point.... just ping pong back and forth...If they not on charmed mob... you will ping pong them back and forth... til they are on your charmed pet.... 2 Problems you have to work through and add the correct syntax so they aren't problems.
1. Possibility of warping to 2nd point... and having a mob right there already... and immeditally warping back to first spot... could cause problems...
2. Starting Circle up once mob hits low HP... possiblity of mobs getting a good 1 round of attacks in on that swarm kite=dead bard.

Once you code around those flaws I think you will be fine... But as with any of the specific "warping" macros... Its very hard to make the universal. All mine work perfectly on my 2 chars... but they were tailor made around them... So many folks have problems adjusting them to there characters.
