overcoming no-aggro regen

Im sure others are encountering this problem...say when I am -900 below a mob, even if its dotted or Im nuking it will begin to regenerate very quickly the first tick after its aggroed..example, i stack 5 dots on it, as soon as they are all stacked and im no longer casting on it it will begin to regenerate even though its dotted to all hell...
Solution Found!
as long as the NPC maintains initial aggro it will not regenerate! I experimented in RCoD and found that if i chained a fast casting, low mana spell with my BL non stop the NPC would be continually aggroed and not regenerate..Thus allowing my druid to lay waste to 3 named before going oom, whereas it was a real challenge to down one. The key is to have a second char that can cast and recast a spell in under 6 seconds..

Been doing this solo with my druid just spaming flame lick while i stack 5 dots. Flame lick being like 8 mana and having like 80 mana regen or so, you can gain mana and keep agro. I still cant beat Ikkians 1 group because i cant figure out the 1 guy in the hall that i cant see and when i find a spot i can i get attacked. Diaku OS in tactics and Glykus i have killed, all groupable named in RCoD i have killed, Dueod Schoolleader, Alpha feren and Slavedriver in NC with a bard. I have yet to think of any mobs that drop gear better than DoN merchants sell so any ideas for better mobs would be great. Would love to find a mob or two to farm droping 150-200m/hpt items.

how do you do slavedriver in NC? you get under him? do you have to kill the 2 guards first?

Yeah i kill his front two guards and kill him. takes a long time but duo bard and druid its not bad, same as alpha and schoolleader, 20 minute fights but easy. Alpha sucks cause ya need to clear his 4 guards first to get him to drop loot. I just realized now i didnt need to kill either the mob in the door or the monkey next to it to kill dd, ikkanz 1 going down as we speak.

awsome! all you hvaeto do on ikky 1 is kill the holder for annhilator, get the first door emote and warp under DD and dot away....on menlo and schoolleader do you hvae to continually keep aggro with flamelick?

Yeah ya need the agro on all of them in NC but if ya have a bard twisting he does it fine. Beat ikkanz 1 but went to 2 and warped 3 times but after like 3 seconds it sent me back to ent, im not gona mess with that.

i usually DA my sk or protective spirit my BL and click it then zone...the twins ar e a pita...ive gotten down 3 of the servant dudes, but the single target dd isnt on a timer, so my sk can go from 12k to dead in like 4 seconds..its strange.
i had the most success with using pets to kill the little dudes (sk and BL), with sk chain aggroing the priest.
Its a pain to 3 box, i may try it again tomorrow...i tried just using pets, but the priest started working the hell out of them..i need to figure out how to overcome the ae since the little dudes are almost 100% spell resistant, or how it works exactly

Could someone please post locs on where you killed these named in NC im having trouble with Alpha Feran wiped me like 5-7 times
