Firstly please feel free to move this, I have posted here as it is a kind of strat. If you are unlucky enough to have a GM pop on you when you are busy macroing away and suspect a rollback or suspension is coming your way, zone out and get killed asap, then ideally take all items you want out of bank and die again, the theory is that after the rollback or suspension is up, all items will be available on the toon in shadowrest, a friend is currently testing this theory out........... but he assures me it works, i mean ok you lose some xp and / or aa's, but at leats all the hard earned gear is still there...
 
Clever if it works...we will know if it does when we see a patch message "Fixed a problem with corpses in Shadowrest" hahah

Lol, I love the irony of those two sentences put together. (not flaming, just teasing)

Hope this works for those that are getting caught, but from what I've heard they are rolling people back to level 1, so most of the gear (if this works) would not be equipable for a while. Also I imagine the GM's might be keeping an eye on those that they just dealt with. Let us know the results when you can, its still a good idea.
 
My suspended toon left a corpse will all the newly acquired gear on it after my strip, but before the ban. If they release the acct in a few days, I will let you know if they cleared the corpse as well.
 
unless yo uare sleeping and afk and they ding you level 1 and dlete all your gear on you :P
 
yeah or not afk but they pop into CoA as you are spanking hanvar and then they strip everyting from you .... even your soul !!! sucks waiting around to see how bad the damage is ... 2 toons just sitting in zone .. not to much /hacks used on them .. but the monk was pounding away LOL .. I was caught with hand in cookie jar
 
one time they deleted all of my characters from the server and I had to start over, but the folks on all the other servers were fine. another time they made them all level 1. didn't know I was suspended tho til after I tried to log in the next time.
 
I have always used this strat. I havent had to do it since January, but i know it worked as late as mid-January. I was banned on a rogue account so I immediately camped and deleted the toon. Started a fresh account and made a toon withthe same name, corpse was still there. I was runninga round lvl one with a bank full of Anguish gear =(
 
on thing you can do is dupe easy your orux radiant crystal cause they make you naked but you still got radiant and orux and such like that so put in another char and wait your roll back )
 
This happened like last month... When they first started invading instances, i died in front of Olihin when i was in dranikshollowc ..Olihin was rollbacking my character, never deleted my corpse, came back and had everything back.
