Right, but if EQ loads and you get a character loaded just fine, when you run MQ2, and EQ crashes, MQ2 should kick out a popup with error info and a log

try loading the game first, then running mq2, will give you an error log/report that can be used to help figure it out

yeah, Ive found just starting with a new log file solves the issue with loading.

If you're trying to get past it first time, it's not invalid information. Chasing achievements is NOT the same as getting through it.

I've found having a hot button /target a_swirl_of_disturbed_crust05 to get to the rock to respawn quickly before too many adds is a help on ashen cliffs. Also, if you have more than 1 add up, take them out first before killing the correct swirl, which is what the hot key targets for you.

That's the message when trying to go into the static zone, only way in, without a key, is campfire, and person in their group needs to be in zone, and keyed. For the mission, it will act like you are zoning in, but drop you at the OT/FM zone line instead, not into the instance.

I've never had that problem. Have run 11 through it, and only 1 with the VP key and progression done to get the mission. For the mission, they should get in fine, for regular zone, the 1 needs to campfire in. What happens when they try to zone in?

IT is that mission, just need 1 flagged in the group(raid if you are bringing 12 toons)

you can do combat music with /combatmusic , I don't think there is anything else though that actually will mute it all then un mute it.
