ok, finally had the chance to go in and change all 3 instances of "microsoft" to "microsoap" launched MQ2 and it worked fine, but when i updated it, i was once again confronted with the your not authorized message. anything else i might be missing?

ahh ok, i'll try changing all 3 and see how that works out for me, hopefully it works tired of having to re-compile it all the time lol

yes, changed it in both .exe files in the 2 places other than the one that looks like this "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime"
