DBG should just monetize the EMU market already and stop being at odds with them. It’s a creators realm… sanction them and even provide shared revenue streams for content creators to make money like all kinds of other platforms do. Make it an unofficial and non supported realm that is given... -

Just a heads up for those not aware. There is a new discord for the EMU community: https://discord.gg/6T4n3DdPVB Additionally, https://docs.eqemu.dev/ is a wealth of info re: hosting, developing, or managing a server. Scripts are Perl and lua. Server source is open also. -

Home network will likely be the bigger negative impact - not bandwidth but just reliability (10-20 Mbps would be sufficient generally). Some providers are garbage. Core number and core speed will help. RAM for 1K active players probably needs to be 64GB Whoops, meant to respond to @william12
