This spell book thing happens a lot if you have a poor connection to the server. I live in Australia, and the BEST ping to EQ that I have ever had is around 180ms, typically more like 250ms. If a little bit of lag happens at the time you try to memorize a spell, it will fail and the spell book...

I was in that guild. The loot bot didn't even use MQ. And we had been using it since about 2011. All it did was read the log file and CTRL-V into game chat and press enter.

This was it, was in firewall exceptions on one PC, but not on the other. Added it in, and now its working. Thank you!

Is there some trick to get clients on two different PCs to connect to each other? They are on the same subnet...

Thanks for this. I tried to add zone name in there. I find it useful to see at a glance what zone everyone is in. I was able to add it in there successfully, but it doesn't update when other characters zone. Is this some limitation with dannet? or something else? Thank you
