If you want to keep those items, I'd search through your entire loot.ini and just delete those entries and then recreate them and see if that solves your issue.

Do each of your alts have different items on them? If they do I'd suggest trying to switch some of the items from the character that works to the one that doesn't work and see if he starts working again. It could be a bad entry somewhere that is causing the issue if you have different items on...

Yes the gear tag would work for this case. Assuming you don't run multiple rogues in the group. I'm 85% sure you will have to manually enter it though, rather then just use the "/setitem gear" command.

Is your SK your ML or just another in the group?

If you change any of the MQ2AutoLoot variables that is a good idea. It isn't necessary for loot entries though, as those are read from the loot.ini file when the item drops.
