EQ player since 04/99 ~ 8-12+ hours daily (nights mostly), + Sundays and holidays. E'ci Mage 'Dabones' Also tried an ENC and BRD initially, who neither made the cut ATT.

12/09, survived severe stroke, good recovery except L/hand (mouse hand) that was life changing indeed.

Then 01/01 failed/borked spinal-cord neck surgery resulted in paraplegia (unable to walk). About then, my desktop died, not that I could get to it anymore. Life getting better/n better, huh? Oh, and living on SS disability leaves little after expenses, eating, nothing for entertainment. If not for my amazing wife who truly loves me, EQ would be just a fond memory of better times. But there are limits to her understanding. Maintaining my original gold acct, after disability/retirement, is one thing. However, it's been difficult to explain, and reach her understanding and agreement to expand EQ expense, (already grown some; RG:l2, Class plugins). Now I need~5 additional character accounts, plus the additional special software subs. Just to keep playing my original 26-year account.

Chances of adding ~5 more support accounts, plus other commitments (subs), are slim with a very uncommitted, duration, she made crystal clear.

So I'm conflicted, did I make a mistake joining? But ever hopeful... I'm gonna hang in, maybe I can figure something out. Even how, I'll learn some stuff from all the smarts here. Play smart & enjoy every day, you never know ....
