It has to do with windows 10 and windows defender and EQ Logs. I believe either turning logs off, or adding the EQ/Logs folder to windows defender stops this.

Interesting, maybe I'll give that a try if the rolling back of drivers doesn't work for me. My specs are fairly similar to yours. Used to have problems with bluetooth headphones and eq/vent but those resulted in actual crashes, not just freezing of windows. Thanks for the quick reply.

Wondered if you've fixed this. I've been having the same problem you describe. Just frozen windows that require ending from task manager. I did notice a new driver install for nvidia in Sept. Rolled that back and trying again. Hopefully that is the issue. It used to just be one or two clients...

Which part do I change to download somewhere else. When I change the last part to not be my innerspace folder i get an error and it won’t download. I’ll post a screen shot shortly

Doesn't work for me. It did download all the files, but when I re-launch and go to the patcher screen it still shows 6341 as the current "my" version. Done it multiple times and ensured automatically update isn't checked, also download development patches is not checked. Any thoughts?

Can confirm. Maybe MQ2autologin is the issue? With both MQ and ISB loaded I can't launch the game through innerspace. With no MQ I can launch game fine with ISB. However, I can load it, at least one char, and then load MQ2 and I don't crsh.

Since the most recent patch even using EQWire I'm at 100% CPU usage. Prior to this most recent patch and update I was sitting around 65-70% usage while running EQWire. No changes in terms of chars loaded, setup, or anything. Anyone else getting this?
