Hm..no. Still the same problem: "There are no spawns matching: (0-100) any beast" (tried /target beast, was a mob in the zone called "a dark beast" ).
Could there be any restriction on how far the target can be or by level...? Not sure what the "0-100" bit means :)
Targeting by rightclicking on map, works fine. For example..currently.I'm standing right in front of "a dragorn officer". If I try to /target dragorn or /tar a dragorn officer , I get: "There are no spawns matching: (0-100) any dragorn
I'm basically just typing : /tar mobname or /target mobname into the regular chatwindow / mq2 window.. doesn't seem to work for some reason and only with the mentioned compile. :/

I'm using the compile found here for eqemu. But for some reasong I can't use /target if the mob are too far away. I thought this was one of the mq2 basic features...being able to target across zone etc.. Any idea what might be the problem? :)
Problem solved.. mq2 window appeared after a while..weird.. hehe. But it's there now.
All I can guess is that it was a problem if not being run as administrator as mentioned. Thanks alot guys! :)

I just came back to the game after many years away. Of course I signed up again for RedGuides ;) But I'm having a little trouble getting mq2 running.. I downloaded your latest release..unzipped and ran the macroquest2.exe file..then started wineq and run everquest.
However..no Mq2 is...
