Indeed, I 100% agree. I appreciate all of the hard work the team has done over the years. I just hope it doesn't end me personally. I will and always prefer live just because we don't know the fate of a community-hosted private server, I mean, I guess we don't even know the state of live either...

My only complaint with any of this is the constant EMU resets because they open and close... did this with WoW EMUs and it gets old fast. I have established live toons for years now, with lots of collections, making it hard to just up and leave. The sad reality is that this is exactly do I think...

There is a file in lua/examples called linkdetector try running "/lua run examples/linkdetector" and then Talk to NPC and trigger the dialog line with clickable options. In MQ console/chat, it should print lines like: found: Dialog (4) - <raw_link_text> then simply /executelink <raw_link_text>

Ah the good ole days of sitting in Highpass farming plat... and training people intruding.

yea hopefully that will help you recover some type of files from it I have had good luck using that software but its not perfect.
