@Cybris I am attempting to follow you but im running into issues.
I am running an EQEMU in Parallels. I have a bottle in Crossover running MQ and it kicks off.. however The Crossover MQ does not detect the EQ actions in Paralles. What am I missing.

So I am trying to play Project Lazarus on my M1 Pro Macbook.
I created an empty bottle in crossover, then installed fonts, and directx into it.
I then copied my Project Laz folder into the bottle root, then set the run command to patchme in the exe.
It DOES run, however it is PAINFULLY slow...
So just curious with this...

I am running a M2 Pro Macbook, and I am playing on an EMU, so daybreak is not my problem. I am getting this same error. reading what your saying that makes sense why.
