Problem - zone.cfg - how to get it to run.

Recently I was having a rash of crashes, mostly when trying to log in.
I decided to start with a clean slate so I renamed my /release and /EQ folders.
Installed a fresh copy of both and copied all the relevant .ini files to the new installs.

Everything is working great and no more crashing!
Loading and zoning times have been reduced by at least half and maybe more.

Now for the issue.
I have some code that runs in my zone.cfg file. Basically it writes a bunch of character info to an ini file which I then bring into Excel so I can keep track of my toons.

Well, now my zone. cfg file is not getting executed and the ini is not getting updated...
It's been too long since I made the file to remember if it needs to be activated somewhere? Ini entry?
Does it even work any more?

Anyone?

Thank you for pointing me to that.

Never had a /Configs folder in the past.
It's always been in /Release since I made it back in 2014.

You can technically put it in release or the main EQ directory. I find it easier to put them in configs though. Instead of scrolling through the list to find them
